CRN Names FogHorn One of 10 Coolest Startups of 2016

With only two weeks remaining until year end, FogHorn received another major industry honor, by being named one of the 10 Coolest Startups of 2016 by CRN, the leading publication for computer resellers and channel partners. This follows closely on the heels of FogHorn being named the hottest IoT company that will make the biggest splash in 2017 by HPE Matter, a digital magazine produced by Hewlett Packard Enterprise.

This recognition underscores the skyrocketing interest in emerging solutions for the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) which spans virtually every industry ranging from transportation, energy, manufacturing and mining to healthcare, construction, transportation and more.

CRN specifically recognized FogHorn for its wide-ranging solutions for OEMs, systems integrators and customers in vertical markets – such as smart cities, health care, retail and manufacturing – through its "edge intelligence" software.

According to the publication’s announcement on December 16, 2016, FogHorn’s software platform carries machine learning to the on-premise edge environment to prevent catastrophic failures in machines such as industrial pumps or wind turbines. “The company also provides a scalable edge analytics platform to enable real-time, on-site stream processing of sensor data from industrial machines.”

This is yet another validation of the work of our engineering and management team and certainly a great way to end what has been a great and momentous year for FogHorn. We look forward to many more achievements like this in 2017.

Happy holidays everyone, and see you next year!
